There are several ways to turn eLearnReady into teaching and advising strategies. Here are some ideas:

Idea #1: Forum Discussion

  1. Take the eLearnReady assessment survey and view the assessment report. Based on the resources (e.g., study tips and videos) provided at the report page, identify three study tips that you found helpful and explain why they might benefit you. Your initial post must be uploaded before 11:59 p.m. U.S. EST/EDT on the 5th day of this module.
  2. Review at least two of your classmates’ postings and reply to their threads. In your response, identify a commonality regarding your online learning experience or usage of eLearnReadyBoth replies must be posted before 11:59 p.m. U.S. EST/EDT on the last day of this module.

Idea #2: Assignment

Directions: Complete the 3-2-1 organizer below after taking the eLearnReady assessment survey. Take a screen shot of your results page (see sample below), paste your screenshot in this document (directions to take a screenshot on PC or MAC). Analyze your eLearnReady results based on the prompts below. Support your reasoning. Save your file as MS. Word document and submit it through the appropriate learning management system methods for submitting assignments and please name the assignment as 3-2-1 eLearnReady Assignment.

Idea #3: Academic Advising

Academic advisors can ask their advisees to take eLearnReady assessment survey and then send the report link back to the advisors. The advisors can then save that link to the student’s online profile for future reference. When advisors are registering students for online classes, they can refer to the student’s eLearnReady profile (report) and provide suggestions/recommendations to course instructors accordingly.
